当我们针对一个问题或情况所做的回答具有模棱两可的答案时，常常用这个短语。

Jerry:This is the PR,or Public Rclations department,and everyone's either off to an carly lunch,or out relating with other companies.

Tom:I see what about over there?

Jerry:That's HR, or, Human Resources depariment where all the hiring and firing happens. Let's makc one more stop and meet some of the staff here at this company.
杰瑞：那是HR部门，所谓的人事部门，决定员工的录用或解雇。让我们在这儿停一下，见见公司其他人员吧。

Tom:Who are we going to meet?
汤姆：我们要见谁呢？

Jerry:There's the Board of Directors,who is responsible for going over all the major decisions made by Kitty,the CEO; the vice president,who's in charge when Kitty's on vacation; and lastly,the managers of the different departments along with their assistant managers.
杰瑞：董事会的成员们，他们要负责审查执行长凯蒂所做的决策。还有副总裁，凯蒂休假期间都是由他代理职务．最后还有各部门的经理及其副理。

Tom:That's a lot of people to meet before lunch.
